QRtact User Data Deletion Policy

QRtact respects your privacy and gives you full control over your data. This policy explains how users—particularly those who signed in via Facebook Login—can request the deletion of their personal data stored in our systems.

1. What Data We Collect

When you use QRtact, we may store the following information associated with your account:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number(s)
  • Social media links
  • QR code profile and preferences
  • Payment history (non-sensitive metadata only)
  • Login provider information (e.g., Facebook UID)

2. How to Request Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your QRtact account and all associated data:

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

        1. Open the QRtact app
        2. Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account
        3. Confirm your request

        Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 72 hours.

        Option 2: Email Request

        You can also request data deletion via email:

        • Send an email to: privacy@qrtact.com
        • Subject: “Delete My Account”
        • Include: the email you used to register or log in

        We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 days.

        3. Data Retention After Deletion

        Once your data is deleted:

        • All personal information is permanently erased
        • Backup data (if any) is cleared within 30 days
        • We retain only anonymized, non-personal metadata as required for analytics or legal compliance

        4. Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

        If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also request deletion through Facebook’s platform:

        1. Go to your Facebook settings
        2. Navigate to Apps and Websites
        3. Find QRtact, click Remove, then follow the on-screen steps to request deletion
