Welcome to QRtact! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QRtact mobile application (the “App”), our website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using QRtact, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • These Terms apply to all users accessing the app on or after the Effective Date
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use QRtact.

1. Purpose of the Service

QRtact allows users to:

  • Create a digital contact profile
  • Add and manage contact information and social media links
  • Generate and share personalized QR codes
  • Access premium features via in-app purchases

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use QRtact. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content and QR Profiles

You may upload, display, or link your personal contact information, social media accounts, and QR code profiles (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you:

  • Grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it for delivering the service
  • Confirm you have the legal right to share such content
  • Agree not to upload illegal, offensive, or infringing materials

You are solely responsible for the content you share via QR codes.

4.1 License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use QRtact solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

5. In-App Purchases

Certain features of QRtact may require payment. These may include one-time purchases, subscriptions, or premium upgrades. QRtact supports payments via:

  • The Apple App Store (using your Apple ID account)
  • Apple Pay and other direct card payments via Stripe

You agree that:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or outlined in this policy
  • For purchases made through the App Store, all transactions are subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies
  • QRtact does not store or process credit card data; all payments are securely handled by Apple or Stripe

Payments processed through Stripe are handled by our payment processor partner. By purchasing, you agree to comply with Stripe’s Services Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

At QRtact, we aim to provide a transparent and fair purchase experience. This section outlines how to cancel subscriptions and request refunds, depending on your payment method.

6.1 Subscriptions via Apple App Store

If you subscribed through the App Store:

  • You may cancel anytime via your Apple ID settings:
    1. Open the Settings app on your device
    2. Tap your name > Subscriptions
    3. Select QRtact and tap Cancel Subscription
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

QRtact is not responsible for refunds of App Store purchases.


6.2 Payments via Stripe or Apple Pay (Direct Purchases)

If you purchased a subscription or feature directly via Stripe or Apple Pay (outside of the App Store):

  • You may request cancellation by contacting us at support@qrtact.com
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are granted only in the following cases:

    • Duplicate charges
    • Technical errors preventing access to premium features
    • Purchase made in error within 24 hours and not used

To request a refund, email us at support@qrtact.com with your:

  • Full name and email address
  • Payment confirmation or receipt
  • Reason for the refund request

Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 7 business days.

Payments processed through Stripe are handled by our payment processor partner. By purchasing, you agree to comply with Stripe’s Services Agreement.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use QRtact for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the app
  • Interfere with the app’s operation or servers

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.

8. Privacy

Your use of QRtact is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

QRtact is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, secure, or always available.

Use of the app is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRtact and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to QRtact at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the app.

You may also delete your account and stop using the app at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If a dispute arises, you agree to resolve it in the courts of United Kingdom, unless local consumer laws provide otherwise.

12.1 Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us in good faith to try to resolve the issue informally. Most disputes can be resolved quickly through email.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We’ll notify you of major changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
